Finding a friend so faithful

John 15v12-17
Reasoning:

Why do you need a friend or friends?
Let’s reason, is it to share your thought, your views and issues of life ?
Or is it just a companion for killing time?
Do you really love your friends? Do you care for them? if yes what is that you expect back from them?

Is your friend taking advantage of your goodness, have you chosen the right friend?

What kind of activities, you guys do to gather? does that activity of yours helpful for your improvement or is it just killing time?

These questions when you ask yourself you’ll get to know the key elements of friendship, and to know your own self.

Are you sure, you sure that you are not self seeking in friends and manipulating friendship? How much are you controlled or influenced by a friend? is it in a good way or bad way?

Think these things and know that you can become a friend of Jesus. And you can have Jesus as your friend.

Jesus says John 15:12-13, 17: “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends…. This I command you, that you love one another.”

True friend is someone who can criticize you in a good way, can correct you when you are wrong without hurting you.

But Jesus talks about a friendship that lays down life for one another. Can we find such friendships ?

That too for bad people can any good person die?
But Jesus came to die for sinners. HE LOVED TO BE A SINNER’S FRIEND.

He is the faithful friend, that you can talk to, depend on, lean on. He corrects you gently, His spirit if you allow will live in you and guide you.

You have the same Godly nature that Jesus has. Believe in your friend, He is yours. Will always be there for you. He strengths you when you are weak, He can become your wisdom if you believe and trust Him.

Come to Jesus, there is no friend like Jesus.
