God’s word for you in this time of spiritual growth:

yoked-donkey-and-ox

God has given divine 7 fold promises for us which says who we are.

2 Corinthians 6 : 16-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
17 Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”

  1. I will live in them.
  2. I will walk among them.
  3. I will be their God.
  4. They shall be my people.
  5. I will welcome them.
  6. I will be your Father.
  7. You will be my sons and daughters.

This great relationship and friendship with God is possible only when we believe in the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ and Him becoming our savior from sin and sickness.

When having such a fellowship with God, Son and Holy Spirit, we are called to break the yoke of fellowship with unbelievers because this close bond with those who oppose God’s words, will limit us.

2 Corinthians 6:12 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.

Watch that brothers and sisters.

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”

17 Therefore

“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”

With such promises 2 Corinthians 7:1 says

2 Corinthians 7:1 New King James Version (NKJV)
1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

There is a special kind of salvation is a must for us, note this in peters first sermon after the baptism of Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:40 New King James Version (NKJV)
A Vital Church Grows
40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”

John 10:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Even some people who are believer of Christ but they are indulging themselves with ungodly talks, foolish blabbering, and have not departed from iniquity, and oppositions and following doctrines of various kinds not of the Lord stay away from them, better to be alone than being churches where there is no true fruits of the spirit is.

2 Timothy 2:21 New King James Version (NKJV)
21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Being Christian but denying the power of godliness be careful with such people .

2 Timothy 3:13 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

2 Thessalonians 3:14 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 And if anyone does not obey our word in this epistle, note that person and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.

There are people who know the Lord but they are not seeking Him, or not reading His word to know the truth, let Lord help them, let them turn away from world and attachments and know the truth and let the truth set them free.

James 1:27 New King James Version (NKJV)
27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

We being the children of God cannot do business with those who oppose God’s words.
We must be careful in choosing marriage partners not to marry children of devil.

1 John 1:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

You tend to behave like the one you associate with. Be smart in people who you surround yourself with.

Jesus had 12 in His circle, but inner circle He had only three people. Don’t disclose your secrets to all, have very small number of godly people as your inner circle.
Learn from the master.
